It was the good will and vision of previous Paper Lady, Joan Manchester, that inspired her to open The Paper Lady twenty-four years ago.

To say the rest is history is an understatement. In 2004 she hired and mentored Rosie Wiedenmayer who worked at The Paper Lady.  Then, a year later, Joan decided it was time to sell the business. Rosie jumped at this great opportunity.  But, it wasn’t until completion of a rigorous selection process and many qualified interviews that Joan realized Rosie would be the best person to fill her shoes.  In January 2005, Rosie Wiedenmayer became the second owner of
The Paper Lady.

Today, The Paper Lady has evolved into Denver’s premier stationery store providing their client’s with unique stationery and gift ideas they cannot find anywhere else. The Paper Lady was recently awarded Denver’s Best Stationery Store by 5280 Magazine, an award chosen by its readers. Yesterday’s commitment to good will and vision continue to be the foundation for The Paper Lady’s ongoing success.
